FREE ASSOCIATION / HRISTO - Free Sensation

Edmonton crew Common Edit resurface with their first 7″ treat in almost a year with Andrew Allsgood’s Free Association and Honey Disco’s Hristo sharing sides. As with all Common Edit releases it’s a record of two halves with the Hristo production floor worthy whilst the Free Association track one for more horizontal situations. It’s hard to describe “Free Sensation” as anything other than dreamy, with Allsgood revealing a dubby adventure into sumptuous dancefloor disco funk with some absolutely killer filtering. A decidedly more taut sensation runs through “Heat Market” from Hristo which is some uncredited, rigid disco funk perfect for the more cosmically minded selectors.
