Gabrielle Roth is a dancer who, in the ‘60s, rediscovered a type of shamanic dance which she named 5Rhythms. Side one of Endless Wave: Volume One shifts mood from meditation to movement with drums, funky bass, gentle vocals, didgeridoos and instructions from Roth creating a sound environment for the dance to unfold. Side two features the same tracks without Roth’s instruction.
