HARLEM RIVER DRIVE, ALTHOUGH BRIEF IN ITS EXISTENCE (this is their only LP), was an important part of musical development led by the guidance of Eddie Palmieri. This record is generally known as the first prominent musical fusion of black and latin musicians and art.  The album gained fame through the dancefloors with tracks like the monster Idle Hands and Seeds of Life.
