A smooth & soulful classic from Berlin singer and producer Georg Levin, In My Car dates back to 2003 but gets a re-release from Sonar Kollektiv complete with the lush instrumental track for the dj's. Nu-soul at it's very best, Levin croons like the best of the blue-eyed soul brigade while a reedy string synth glistens in the background. Amazingly it sounds as fresh as ever, and is well worth a second bite of the cherry.
