Beleza Tropical
It was originally back in 1989, that iconic Talking Heads frontman David Byrne first shared his love of music from Brazil with the world. He dropped a three-part collection called Brazil Classics that focused on MPB, samba and Forro music. It was a nascent scene back then but has exploded now - still, these albums have withstood the test of time and are still essential. This is volume one and it has been remastered for the latest reissue on his own label. It offers a mix of landmark and lesser-known cuts from some of the true masters of Latin genres and remains a vital addition to your collection.
