A pretty darn nice album of mellow African soul -- issued as part of Jive's Afrika series, way back in the early 80s, when American companies thought they could make a lot of money off of Afro Funk. Fortunately, they did make this one available -- and it's a very nice batch of tracks that shows a different style than the average Fela album. The band have a smooth, tightly produced sound, with elements of spacey soul, and a style that's a bit like mid-period Earth Wind & Fire.
