After six releases from the Dutch label Cat In The Bag, the cat is very much out of the bag for drum & bass fans. This latest transmission – another one in the Park Sessions series is pure cat nip right from the off. MsDos takes care of the a-side with ‘Belfry’, a lively but silky rhythm with bleeping cosmic synths and smeared solar winds while ‘Visions’ is both deeper and more physical with its melancholic chords. Tommy The Cat then steps up on the flip with ‘Late Night Cats’ with its edgy and endless amen breaks and ‘A Shoulder To Lean On’ going for a slow motion beatdown for the late night hours.
