The KPM 1000 series is a seminal collection of library music titles from the golden era of the practice. Image was originally released in 1974, and it features such library heavyweight as Brian Bennett and Neil Richardson laying down exquisite themes that transcend their commercial intentions to become moments of pristinely produced musical bliss. There's a swooning romanticism to the likes of 'Paradise Island' which you'll likely want to rest in a while, while of course there's sampling potential in abundance on these sorts of release. As ever, the Be With stamp of quality means this is a reissue done the right way.
