Sven Wesiemann has long been obsessed with the deeper end of the electronic spectrum whether crafting tech, house or dub. It is the latter which he turns his attention to here with a pair of devastatingly deep cuts for Freund Der Familie. 'Sea Of Sentiments' kicks off at a snail's pace with hissing hi hats snaking off into the distance, occasion hits and unhurried bass way down below. 'Azuma' on the flipside of this tasty 7" is another perfectly sub-aquatic, grainy cut rich in atmosphere with molten pads, deft shards of light penetrating the surface and muttered vocals adding emotion.
