More smelly edits from the rather mysterious Blend It! family. As with previous collections, it’s all about that juicy mid-tempo field; fluid, organic and primed for all good backrooms and warm ups sessions. “She Paused” has more than a whiff of Jacko’s “Off The Wall” to it, complete with Quincy strength strings. “Star”, meanwhile, drops the tempo even further and wiggles its way around with a jaunty, almost Idjut Boys twang. “Lying” is more you classic horn-heaving stomp while “All Night” comes at you like a Sunburst Band record. Four cuts, each one stinking of party success. Get blending.
