Astral Dance’s debut Mindgate is very much in line with the middle 80s electronic music scene. Long tracks that feature period synthesizer instrumentation along with electronic percussion. Recalls Hyperborea to Underwater Sunlight era Tangerine Dream. Overall a fine album for the style.
