Phil Manzanera

The second in a series of Manzanera facelifts, here we find the Roxy Music guitarist getting two wonderfully complementary remixes. While Zsou takes "Walking Through Heaven's Door" on a deep, dark techno trip (think Ame with a touch of Beyer) with a heavy emphasis on pounding, primitive loopy vibes, Baldelli and Dionigi take "Caracas" to a sonic dreamland where harmonized vocals cascade into a lacy cosmic massage. Two left-minded, supremely creative overhauls for two completely different sides of the dance - you can't ask for much more, really.
