Repress of the first release from Finders Keepers records, run by Andy Votel is the seminal 1972 album from Serge Gainsbourg's right-hand man Jean-Claude Vannier. It was recorded during the same session as Gainsbourg's masterpiece 'Melody Nelson' and follows in a similar avant garde rock-opera vein. 'L'Enfant Assasin Des Mouches' is a supernatural tale written by Gainsbourg and narrated by Vannier with sparse music concrete sounds coupled with choirs, funky beats, cowbells, wah-wah guitars and ethnic strings, this is stunningly arranged and imaginative. originally it was a promo only and fetches in excess of 400 pounds.LP - Lovingly remastered and repackaged in an authentic gatefold sleeve to celebrate the 10th birthday of Finders Keepers Records.
