Tyson Ballard's "Feel Like I Feel" was something of a deep house gem - a tasty fusion of warm, dreamy keys, hazy chords and hissing analogue beats. Here, Ballard hands it over to two mighty talents - deep house veteran John Daly and analogue eccentric Legowelt - for reinterpretation. Daly kicks things off, layering Ballard's original chords and keys over a thicker, fatter groove and a killer analogue bassline. Legowelt takes a different tack, choosing to emphasize the depth of the Australian's original via shuffling, soft focus beats, woozy chords, drowsy synthesizer melodies and yearning vocal samples.
