Repress off this wonderful album of spaced out electronics from 1976!
This album by Mort Garson was originally- released a few years after his monumental works The Zodiac's 'Cosmic Sounds' (1967), 'The Wozard Of Iz' (1968) and Lucifer's 'Black Mass' (1971). Every fan of unique psychedelia (The Zodiac) and mind-bending electronic music (the two others) should certainly lend an ear to these three masterpieces, but there was more to come. 'Plantasia', originally released in 1976, has been labeled "warm earth music for plants and the people who love them". Revealing a sound that was less dark than that on his previous releases, this Moog-dominated album offers dreamy and colourful compositions that work like a score for an imaginary movie.
