Casa Bonita

The five-piece band from Lisbon, Portugal release their first album in 2024.
Casa Bonita’s sound was made for the dance floor – inspired by their favourite DJs and Lisbon long summer days, the project was born of re-imagining the group’s favourite electronic dance tracks with a full band, which served as a springboard for creation. The band’s self-titled debut album features ten meandering tracks that transport you to an afternoon in the sun, each named after dishes and drinks the group, whose feelings of home are rooted in family and food, have shared together.

A hand-crafted approach serves as the through-line across the Casa Bonita universe; the album is brought to life by visuals that were shot on 16mm film, showcasing intimate, authentic moments that capture scenes of summer that feel nostalgic and familiar.

Casa Bonita’s live show is an immersive experience. Warm, nostalgic visuals add texture to an interactive, jazz- like performance that feeds off the energy of the audience; the band bends and shapes each track and transition according to response from the crowd, drawing from their experience as DJs.
