The late great Lee “Scratch” Perry is never going to die in the minds of reggae lovers. Not least because of how much he shied the genre over the years with his crazy ideas and curious execution, but also because of how much music he made, and how much of it is still being put out since his sad passing. This time out the world’s most famous stoner’s 1978 album Roast Fish Collie Weed & Corn Bread gets a reissue. He produced it in his famous Black Ark Studio and it was the first album he released that only has songs on it that he had sung himself. Fun fact – it was rejected by Island Records before it went on to become a classic.
